| Introduction to ERA ERA Consulting was founded as a result of a management buy-out of a regulatory function within a toxicology contract research organisation, to attain independence. As a result, our company can boast a cumulative history of experience spanning over 20 years, since the early days of the regulation of products derived from biotechnology in the late 1980s. Our parent company was founded in Germany in 1993, and a subsidiary in London followed shortly thereafter in 1995 in response to the establishment of the European Medicines Agency (EMEA). In response to requests from our growing US client base, operations were established in the USA in 1997, with an office in Washington DC. In addition, in the autumn of 2004 we launched a new office in Brisbane, Australia. Details of our locations can be found on the Office Locator page of this website. During the evolution of our activities during the past 20 years, we have striven continuously to upgrade and update our scientific expertise, reaching a balance in the team between long years of experience and the infusion of know-how in cutting edge technologies. We remain dedicated to the concept of specialising in biopharmaceutical products, in which we have the necessary experience and an unparalleled track record of success. Our team has grown over these years to incorporate new talent, not only in the scientific field, but also in business development and client services - Team page. Not only do we have the necessary scientific expertise, but also the facilities and equipment for a professional approach to project work. We have invested both in hardware and software, a keystone to our philosophy, in order to provide the resources that the discerning client requires, a factor that differentiates us from others in the field.
